About Adwaita Nayar: She is the CEO of Nykaa Fashion and co-founder of Nykaa. With a decade of experience at Nykaa, Adwaita has held various roles, including COO of the beauty business, where she oversaw marketing, operations, and product. She also led the successful launch of 30 physical retail stores across two formats. In 2019, Adwaita founded Nykaa Fashion and currently serves as its CEO, driving the multi-brand retail business and overseeing a range of owned brands. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Prior to Nykaa, she worked with Bain and Co in New York City. She has been recognized for her contributions to India’s fashion market, receiving accolades such as Entrepreneur India’s 35 Under 35 and Fortune India’s and The Economic Times’ 40 Under 40. In 2020, Adwaita was honored as the Fashion & Lifestyle Women Entrepreneur of the year by Business World.
