On the 24th of January, LWL collaborated with Paula Mariwala (President, Stanford Angels) and Gauri Devidayal (Miss T, Colaba), to bring together some of the city’s most prolific female business leaders and entrepreneurs, under one roof to share their journey and experiences with their peers over lush cocktails and food, courtesy Miss T.
The beautifully curated guest list included illustrious names from the private equity space, venture capitalists, serial entrepreneurs, and business heads of fortune 500 companies. These women are not just hugely successful in their respective fields but also continue to be a massive inspiration to women within and outside their organisations. Having broken all kinds of glass ceilings and gone against the grain of every gender stereotype, the evening unfolded with each of these fine women getting to know other tremendously secure women and hopefully forging friendships that went beyond that evening.
LWL seeks to frequently create platforms such as this to allow ambitious and driven women to connect with each other and create a community of shared interests. The idea is also to create a platform that inspires younger women to take their plunge into the progressional world, knowing there is a support System and engaged community in place, likely to mentor and guide them on their professional journey.
