EVENT GUIDELINES:
LWL invests substantial effort to ensure events are efficiently organized, inspiring and valuable. To uphold these standards, members are requested to adhere to the following guidelines:
Punctuality:
We encourage punctuality to ensure our events run smoothly. Late entry is not permitted for closed-door events once an event begins. For all other events, entry will be restricted 30 minutes after the scheduled start time.
Minimizing Disruptions:
To maintain a conducive environment for learning and interaction, we discourage unnecessary movement within event spaces, especially once a session has begun. Certain workshops and coaching sessions may be recorded, and movement can disrupt both, the speaker and the recording process.
Food and Beverages:
Although refreshments are offered before and after events, we request attendees to refrain from consuming them during certain sessions. Water will be readily available throughout, and some venues may offer tea and coffee during sessions.
Devices:
We request attendees to put their mobile phones on silent mode and refrain from using them during sessions. Using phones and answering calls while a speaker is addressing the audience is considered disrespectful.
Conversation Etiquette:
During sessions, we request members refrain from engaging in conversations with others. Opportunities for networking and meaningful discussions will be provided before and after each event to facilitate valuable connections.
WhatsApp Group Guidelines:
– The WhatsApp groups are strictly meant for professional communication. Therefore, members are prohibited from sharing forwards, spam, political opinions, or commercial content. Any such content will be promptly deleted by the group administrators.
– Administrators have the right to remove messages and promotions originating from individuals outside the LWL community, including those sent on behalf of friends, family, clients, or acquaintances.
– Members are requested to use the WhatsApp groups solely for professional requests.
When responding to member queries, it is advised to engage via direct message (DM) to avoid prolonged one-on-one conversations within the group.
– Members are encouraged to minimize unnecessary response messages, such as expressions of gratitude or congratulations, when resources are shared. Instead, messages must be acknowledged by reacting with an appropriate emoji.
– Sharing flyers or promotional material related to external events on the groups is strictly prohibited. Any such content must be reviewed and approved by the Community Managers before being shared.
– LWL maintains a stringent policy against members spamming others with promotional messages via DMs or emails unless expressly requested by the recipient. Violations of this policy will result in warnings, and appropriate action will be taken by the LWL team.
Note:
To foster connections with fellow members, individuals can utilize the WhatsApp city/tier groups, WhatsApp sub-groups, and LinkedIn groups.
Additionally, members are encouraged to explore the LWL Industry list and Resource list to initiate connections within the community. They may reach out to their Community Managers or directly connect with other members on a one-to-one basis.
