Experience: Chef’s Table With Anukriti Anand (Delhi)
Over a beautifully curated course meal and complementing cocktails representative of strong female personalities, our members traced the journey and successful strides of chef-turned-entrepreneur Chef Anukriti Anand at her experiential restaurant Rosie & Tillie. In between courses, she passionately shared how she deployed her gifts as a chef and threw herself in an “evangelical” way to launch and build two successful purpose-driven women-led ventures and shared all about her resilience as an entrepreneur during covid times. Each course celebrated her story and so we started with desserts first, to celebrate chocolate – her first love! The distinctively delicious courses and cocktails were brought to life by Anukriti’s women-led brigade of chefs using seasonal and locally-sourced produce. The conversations ranged from the stereotypes and biases that still prevail in the F&B industry and what women can do to make a mark for themselves in this male-dominated space.
With this enriching evening, full of authentic conversations, a lot of old and new faces got together to raise a toast to a laudable leading lady Chef Anukriti Anand who is carving her niche and co-creating the future of the restaurant industry.
