A remarkable day was in store for our Titans who got exclusive access to Samina Hamied, one of the world’s most powerful business leaders, at the helm of the global giant, Cipla. After our curated Cipla Archive Tour, the global leader walked in humbly and went around the table to make personal introductions. With zeal and passion, she took us through her inspirational journey of relentless commitment to upholding a storied legacy while consistently recalibrating to make the company future ready. From adoption leave to paternal leave, making daycare accessible to making insurance for LGBTQ+ employees available, it was heartening to hear about the inclusive programmes and policies they have devised to create an enabling and thriving workplace for all their employees.

Samina believes that the imposter syndrome is real and women have a tendency to doubt themselves and self-edit. Words of wisdom from her – “We got to believe that we can do it all and aspire to do it with all our might. It’s okay if stuff falls off.”
